This story is about a wisp of a Korean child, married at age fourteen and too soon thrust into the responsibilities of single parenthood, who became, by the grace of God and the help of many good Christians, a messenger of the Gospel of Peace and who finally became, as is sometimes the case with such, a Martyr in the Cause of Christ.

About the Author

Eloise Reid Frary was born in Seoul, Korea, the daughter of Missionary parents.  Mrs. Frary received her bachelor of arts from Berea College in Kentucky.  South of the Mountain is her first published work.
