Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.  1 John 3:18

Our "Hands-On" projects for North Korea offer ways your church or group can get involved on a regular basis, working and praying together for those you are helping.

Sweaters for Children: CFK supports Kaesong Provincial Pediatric Hospital

Simple knitted sweaters are a valuable gift for the children this hospital serves. We attach a card to each sweater with a photograph identifying, in Korean, the group or individual whose love and prayers are stitched into each sweater.

  • Last year the hospital served 32,000

  • Patients range in age from 1 week to 18 years

  • Age breakdown for most patients is as follows:

  • 85% of patients are under 4 years

  • 13% of patients are 4years to 15 years

  • 2% of patients are 15 years old or older

Hats for Doctor's Kits: We continue to send doctor's kits and bicycles to North Korean doctors.

The kits, packed into a backpack marked with CFK's logo include:

  • stethoscope

  • blood-pressure cuff

  • thermometer

  • otoscope

  • spare batteries

  • suture kit

  • other basic care items

When we have them available, we also like to include warm

winter hats.  Many of these doctors have to walk or bicycle

many miles in cold  temperatures during the winter months

to visit patients in their homes.  If you have a group of people

who likes to knit, this can be a wonderful way to meet together,

pray and knit for these doctors who are on the frontline of care

to their patients.

  •  Hats can be handmade or purchased.

  • Knitted or crocheted out of acrylic or washable wool.

  • Adult sizes are best.

  • More traditional styles and colors are appreciated.

Care packages for TB patients: We like to provide basic care kits to patients who are recovering from tuberculosis.

  • TB patients are about 60% men and 40% women.

  • Most men's sizes should be small and medium, with a few larges.

  • Most women's sizes should be small and medium.
